The Upper Township Education Association (UTEA) represents ove 185 members, including teachers, aides, secretaries and interpreters in the UPPER TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT.

The UTEA upholds the contracts the association negotiates with the board of education, and advocates for its members’ professional rights.

In addition, the UTEA supports many projects and activities that benefit our schools, students, and community. Through the NJEA Pride program, we have funded many fun community events (see the page all about our PRIDE Committee).

Studies show that strong professional associations such as the UTEA effectively advocate for their students and communities. School districts with strong professional associations like the UTEA also have better educational outcomes for students.

We are proud of the work we do in UPPER TOWNSHIP and we are proud to be a strong partner in public education!
